This is just a quick update on Al. We made it home from the hospital yesterday (Sunday) and she is very happy to be here to say the least. Al is making some progress but she is having troubles with pain management, sleep, and pouch drainage. It has been hard on her but she is doing the best she can.

We had a little incident earlier today on the new couch with a disconnected drainage bag and an active drainage tube. I'll let you imagine the chaos that occurred when discovered. Thankfully we have some spot cleaner and the couch still looks new.

She hopes to be able to post an update on her own in the next day or so.
