Missing

It's come to my attention that I've been missing from the blog world quite inexplicably for what is considered far too long:)

I have a laundry list of excuses, not all of them good;) But I'll leave you with just a few and let you know that although I haven't actually blogged I literally have 5 posts in my head that I will get down, some funny, some informative, some not so funny. Bare with me my loyal readers and thank you ladies (you know who you are, for getting me out of my lazy blogger phase. I would say I'd blog every day to make up for it but lets not get crazy here!)

So for now a photo explanation of why I didn't blog over the long weekend, when there was plenty of time.

On Friday night we went on a spontaneous outing to get our favorite frozen yogurt and topping with our god daughter and her mommy and daddy. Yum! Peach + Tahitian vanilla = heavenly treat.

On Saturday afternoon I went to see these ladies with one of the lovely ladies in my life. Oh yeah and we got frozen yogurt from another fabulous place. Double Yum!

Saturday night kicked off the next two days of awesomeness just me and my man. The hubs and I went out for dinner and had a really nice night. We laughed, we cried, we ordered just the perfect amount of food. My favorite kind of night, just me and my babe. Plus I was reunited with something so fabulous that night, stay tuned for that post (I know look at me over committing myself.)

I spent three hours on Sunday in one of these in our awesome backyard. I wish I had a picture of the real one, because not only is it comfy, it's special because it was my dad's and he loved that thing so much. I snoozed in it, I read mags in it, I watched my studly husband do yard work from it.

I played with, loved up on, tried disciplining this cute face. She loves the backyard and is getting more and more comfortable which means during puppy frenzy time 5-8 p.m. at night she's getting crazier and crazier. But I sure do love that face, how can you not smile when you see it?

On Sunday night we made this fabulous meal and ate outside! We took a pic and sent it to our families and they thought we were at a restaurant. Nope, Ches Chronicles of Crap at your service!

For dessert we did this! How much more kick off to summer can you get? Notice I'm bundled up like it's the middle of winter and the hubs has the typical So Cal uniform on. I love our little fire pit seating area and so does Charlie.

Monday we took care of some other stuff, I went to therapy (thank goodness) and my CCFA support group. It was a great, relaxing and quiet weekend, just the kind I LOVE.

I'll be back soon. Cut me a little slack though, I'm flying to Nor Cal today for the weekend, but I'll get one post in while I'm there:) Love you all for loving me.
